Maintaining a skincare routine is not only vital to great looking skin on your wedding day, it also provides a perfect canvas for flawless looking makeup.
2-3 months before your wedding
This may be tense time so you should be pumping your skin full of hydrating, energizing ingredients. Think about adding a mask to your routine once a week to keep your skin supple and hydrated.

1 month before your wedding
Avoid any new or extreme treatments. Your final facial (if you've been having them) should be at least 3 -4 days before the wedding.
Focus on gently cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising.
Night before the wedding day
Its always nice to use a moisturising mask the night before the big day for glowing skin. I recommend the Medicube gel masks.
Your wedding day
Its your day off! Your stylist will treat your skin to some pampering before they do the makeup. After all the hard work you've done your skin will be glowing!!

You may decide you want to groom those brows and lift those lashes! Again, if your new to this, please try this out first! Make sure you don’t react to the product, you like the overall look and your comfortable with them. If your happy, make sure you book this again for 4-6 days before your big day, giving time for any post waxing/perming redness, acne
and tint to tone down.

If you want that bronzed glow on your big day but you end up looking more like a tomato after a day in the sun, then a spray tan may be your best option. I would recommend to do a trial run for your hen do and see how it fades down after a couple of days. See how it wears and when you like it best! Just also bare in mind to have this at least 24 hours after waxing and exfoliation.

This will depend on each individual. I would recommend
booking a facial in now and seeing how your skin reacts
before booking your pre wedding one.

DELEGATE. Choose someone you trust to take over
They will be at your beck and call for everything you need. Make sure they know the time schedule, contact details for the suppliers and when they should be arriving, such as florist, photographer etc. They can be making sure everything runs smoothly so you can sit back and relax!
PREP WEAR
It’s best if you and your bridal party are all wearing something front
opening while your being pampered, so not to effect the hair & makeup. If you have pyjama sets for your bridesmaids, make sure they have them on before they get in the hot seat!
Note - Try and avoid wearing tight bras or socks to avoid marks showing when wearing the dresses. Also steam dresses the night before if possible, steam can effect the hair and makeup.
ARRIVAL TIMES
When will your bridal party be arriving? Is everyone coming together or at different times throughout the morning? This will need to be factored in when we are working out your schedule.
So, your big day has finally arrived and it’s time to get ready! You’re feeling a mixture of nerves and excitement but we don't want any stress to creep in! So let's run through the morning, so you’re prepared for anything!
PHOTOS
If there are particular shots you would like such as, everyone in their robes with hair & makeup done, bridal portraits, a toast with your favourite people or bridal reveal pictures......then we will need to allow some time for these to be done. Normally I aim to have you ready 60/90 mins before your ceremony for
getting dressed and pictures, so if you need more time than this please let me know. Always allow longer than you think
you need for getting ready. Make sureeveryone knows what time they will be needed for their hair/makeup to be done.
THE PREP AREA
You may be getting ready at home or at your venue, but there are a couple of things we need to consider when setting up the space.
Where is the most natural light?
Are there enough chairs?
Where are the plug sockets?
Are there surfaces I can put my kit on?
Be prepared for me to come in and totally rearrange the furniture, I like to make myself at home! :)
Who is putting you into your dress and how long does it take?
Some dresses are super quick and easy to get into and some are not.
Make sure that whoever is doing your dress up has practised and knows what they are doing. The last hour of getting ready can be hectic, I've seen many people defeated by the fiddly
button & fancy long wedding nails combo!
BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES
Its also a great idea if your bridal party are in their outfits ready for when you are getting into yours. This ensures that whoever is helping you into your dress is ready and can focus solely on you. It also means everyone is ready and waiting for the big
reveal.
I’ve also been known to help fasten shoes, zip up dresses, attach button holes, hold babies and be on hand
with tissues at emotional moments.
EXTRAS
Body makeup - If you have any tattoos, blemishes etc that you would like to be covered please let me know, we can do this once your dressed so we know what’s on show. I can also
apply highlighter to your shoulders &
collar bone for that extra glow! :)
Your schedule will be emailed directly to you following your preview.
The wedding day
If we run slightly over with one of them, we have scheduled enough
time to make sure everyone is done with plenty of time before the
ceremony.
If anything changes, or you would like to make more time for specific images etc, please let me know and we can adjust the timings accordingly.
We may also want to take some images or reels of the process &
results. Please let me know if anyone would prefer not to be in any of the media taken from the morning.
